Fyuuh. I feel like I have to practice my
English more and more. So, I want to write the story in English. Hahaha. This
one is about a particular activities that only takes place in Ramadhan. Guess
what ?? it’s Iftar time ! haha. Or should I say, Buka Bersama (Buber).
Buber is a special events, such as gathering. But it emphasizes on the moment
of Iftar during the end of fasting day. And this time, I was invited to a
special one; Buber Kasmaji 2011 !
abis jingkrak2. Semua langsung sujud syukur bareng2 :') |
On that evening, at the
very moment. The flashes kept went back to my memory. About what they did and what they said back
in the days: when SBI Class with their soccer team, met us in the Smansa Cup
final; when we won the final and show the trophy off to each teachers in our
class; and my beloved IPS 1 with all their stolen things (benchs from school’s
garden and parking lot, plus some mats from pengajian) placed inside the
class, and the teachers said nothing about this; our tricks to get a good score
in exam, by saving the books in the bathroom that can be accessed when we
needed it; when all boys (despite of the classes) gathered in the parking lots,
laughing things off; when we almost fought with seniors because of a soccer
game; when each of the boys (including me), failed to get a girl, and we just
laughed that off together; when we were together at exploring the nature
(whether it was the beaches, or top of the mountains); when we were studied
together for months, just to conquer SNMPTN exam; and much more. Hahaha. High school
is one of the best memories I’ve ever had. And I won’t forget that.
And now, many of them has changed: Some still
stuck in the “young and fun” time; some still together as couples; some others
already get engaged and ready to marry this year; some went to China and
Germany; some became successful activists; some became very religious; and some
others already got a job. Many of my friends there walked different paths. Yet,
they were somehow still united, when talking about high school. I felt that
maybe this building and all inside it, combined with 3 years of youth spent
there, can eventually make an unbelievably everlasting memory to each one of
us. A memory that keeps us to remember how it feels to be young :)
